What PDM/PLM system do you use at Hospira?

What Product data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) do you use at Hospira? I know your ERP is SAP. But Abbott uses JDE??

Maybe getting rid of Arnott will be a positive for the Global operations. Maybe a high profile hire will get this division jump started.

Maybe John Arnott is not so easy to get rid of as initially thought. On 9-Jan-2007 Hospira filed Form 8-K reporting John Arnott’s resignation on 3-Jan-2007. On 18-Jan-2007, Hospira filed Form 8-K stating:
On January 15, 2007, Hospira and John Arnott, its former Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, entered into an agreement pursuant to which Mr. Arnott will be placed on pay continuation leave and receive his base salary until the earlier of January 3, 2008 and the time he begins full-time employment. Mr. Arnott will also receive executive outplacement services during such time.

How could this happen? One of possible scenarios could be that he was forced to resign, and his lawyer got him this deal with Hospira afterward. The deal sounds like a paid one-year personal leave of absence. Does anyone know which HR policy applies to this case?

Almost all executives have similar deals. Rumor has it that JA joined Kellogg.

Wow, it took 40 days for you to come up with an answer… What deals are you talking about? Do you mean that all departing executives need to resign first and then get placed on the up-to-one-year paid leave while receiving executive outplacement services?

Hi. I've been going through a requiretment process with Mayne in Australia, now owned by Hospira. I have a good job with another big company (not pharma) where I am OK but not growing in skills. Do you recommend I take the Mayne (HSP) job? I'm pretty confident I will be hired with a slightly better pay.

Thanks

G’day, poster from wherever,

To make your story a little bit convincing, write us in Australian English if you can.

Only the HR folk likes to post here - the only sticky thread that always stays on top of all posts - before/after starting a separate thread.

You played the same trick this time, about half a year after you posted that “Maybe getting rid of [John] Arnott will be a positive for the Global operations. Maybe a high profile hire will get this division jump started.”

Stop fooling yourself, man.

So how much longer is the sales force going to wait for posted sales to show up to get paid out?
It is now 4 th Q and We are waiting for payouts from Q2, which is late again! They have us between a rock and a hard place, might need to talk to the department of Labor, wages division?

yet again

Well...yet again things at Hospira are completely screwed up! No pay for what we were owed YET AGAIN for 1st and 2nd qtrs! Thanks Bob Lyman...for single handedly bringing down morale ...who cares some of us are owed thousands...who cares that this is our livelihood...

Hospira is the most screwed up company I have ever worked for in my life...and that is saying something. Mike Ball seems like a great CEO, but how he can put up with this blatent incompetence for over a year is beyond me!

I wonder what would happen if Bob Lyman didn't get a paycheck for over 4 months????

Mike Ball please do something about accountability...

How can you have a sales system that hasn't worked in over 15 months? Why are field sales held accountable in all areas of the drug shortages, etc, yet no one cares whether or not sales services is held accountable for this mess...

We are not getting paid for our work...it just isn't right...I cannot believe that you don't understand this is our livelihood...

If mike ball new what was really going on in the clayton facility i don't think that the tyrant running the site would be there much longer. FDA is coming for their heads. that place needs to be shut down before they kill someone.
