Make your wife do that.

He's busy saving Marines again.

He probably is just mad because we did not pick the Fresno Vs. Boise State. Fresno got shit stomped by Ole Miss in Fresno. I just really hope he does not come on here and say that "Fresno could beat more than half the teams in the SEC."

Bronco Boy "U MAD BRO?"

He's busy saving Marines again.

No big rush. The first game is Saturday, right trooper?

If you can't keep track of the dates take off your shoes and use your toes as counters. As long as you didn't lose any in the war that should help. At least it will get you through for the first 20 days. Good luck.

My picks will be posted by game time Saturday. Count on it. ;)

Fortunately I still have all my digits.

Bronco Billy here.

Well. Boise is just rolling over Fresno State. Halftime score: 37-0 (no - that's not a typo) and they're playing in Fresno.

As a comparison, consider this:

Calfornia Bears beat Fresno 36-21

Nebraska beat Fresno 42-29

Ole Miss beat Fresno 38-28.

I repeat - it's halftime and Boise is ahead of Fresno by 37-0.

Deal with that.

I don't want to hear squat from any of that Boise is not national championship material.

Let's keep it honest on these boards, ok?

My picks for Week #6 will be posted later tonight. Hang tight.

Oh, btw, Kellen is 21-29 for 243 yards in just the first half!!!

The man is a friggin' machine.

Give it up for Kellen.

If he doesn't win the Heisman I'm going to expatriate! :D

Congratulations on your boy, bama. Raise him to be a proud Crimson Tide fan. I saw some guy in the gym today wearing a Crimson Tide t-shirt. We go to talking and I found out that he went to U of Alabama. He was there when Gene Stallings coached. You should have seen the pride in his eyes when he talked Crimson Tide football. I didn't have the heart to tell him that Boise would whup de azz. I let him have his 5 minutes of pride. BTW, I live a long, long ways from Alabama so it was a rarity to find an U of A graduate here.

Oh, and today I put a call into the Alabama Governor's office. I told the young lady who answered the phone how proud I was of the Alabama people and leadership for kicking through the illegal alien law. I urged the governnor to fight the damn feds like a junkyard bulldog and don't let them usurp the law with their fancy high brow courts. I told the lady not to let the feds do to Alabama what they did to Arizona (they basically neutered them). I told her to stand up and fight! And I told her the Crimson Tide rock too. She laughed! :)

I'm back.

1. Texas (+10)

2. Florida (+14)

3. Iowa (+3.5)

4. Arizona St (-4)

5. Miami (+7.5)

6. Michigan (-7.5)

7. Georgia (-2)

8. Texas A/M (-9)

9. Auburn (+10)

10. Nebraska (-11)

P.S. Boise kicked the ever-lovin' crap out of Fresno State 57-7. Boise a played a couple decent teams and no team whupped de azz like that.

Coach pulled Kellen midway through the 3rd qrt. He threw for 254 yards and 3 TD's. Kellen be the man in 2011.

Thanks Bronco Boy. It is a really great experience to be a new father. Many sleepless nights so that is why I am on this board so late. Concerning the recent legislation passed here in Alabama the State is only trying to enforce federal laws that the federal government already has in place.

We don't have as big of a problem with illegals like border states such as Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. I still think it is going to be very difficult for our State to enforce the new legislation. Our State like many others is in such bad financial shape and our law enforcement is already stretched to the max.

Boise put the beat down on Fresno like everyone knew they were going to. Fresno unfortunately is not a "quality team." Fresno got beat by Ole Miss in Fresno! Ole Miss is absolutely horrible this year. I would really like to see Boise match up with either Bama or LSU. It would be interesting to see their fast paced spread offense go up against a NFL Pro Style Defense. Kellen would see the biggest and fastest Defensive Line he has ever seen that would give him so many different looks and formations. It would be the biggest test for him so far. Unfortunately there is a very low probability because Boise probably will not play in the Sugar Bowl against an SEC Team. The BCS always matches up and SEC team with a Big 10 or ACC team in the Sugar Bowl.

I honestly think LSU is the best team in the country this year. They are a road tested team with a Defense as good as Bama but they also have a great offense. Jordan Jefferson is back on the team so now they have 2 good QB's. Kellen is an awesome QB and should be in the Heisman race. Recently I have heard more Heisman talk about Andrew Luck and La Michael James. The LSU Defense put La Michael James out of the LSU-Oregon game.

If Boise got the chance to play LSU, LSU would have the advantage because not only will Boise face a tough opponent but a dirty playing team. LSU players fake leg cramps if the game is close in the 2nd half to get unofficial time outs. I saw the LSU Vs. Bama game in Tuscaloosa in '07 and it was just pathetic how so many LSU players were faking leg cramps in the 2nd Half. I can understand leg cramps in the Summer but LSU and Bama play each other every year on the first Saturday of November!

Have a great weekend all.

Bama, the new legislation is easy to enforce. If an employer hires illegal scum instead of an American citizen throw his ass in jail and fine him $20,000. I thought you Alabama folks were patriots. That's why I like you. Don't go sideways on me now. If they have enough cops to raid medical marijuana clinics they have enough cops to enforce US and local labor laws. And nothing you say would convince me differently.

Didn't you read my comment? Nebraska only beat Fresno by 42-29 IN LINCOLN, NEBRASKA! Boise beat Fresno 57-7 IN FRESNO, CA! And Kellen only played halfway through the 3rd quarter. Boise scrubs played the entire 4th quarter. You need to come clean and fully admit that Boise is national championship material. I know you don't like small town teams beating the big boys. Drop your pride and look at it objectively. Boise whupped Georgia's ass 35-21 in the Georgia Dome. So the evidence is clear. You just need to accept it.

I am not saying a Boise-Alabama or Boise-LSU game would not be a good one. All I am saying is that Boise would hang with either team with a better chance than not beating them.

I agree with you that States need to enforce Federal Laws. From what I see here in Alabama I just think Law Enforcement will not place a priority on checking the identification of people they suspect are illegal immigrants or employers who hire them. I think cops are more concerned with violent crime, drugs, theft and robbery.

Objectively I do think Boise could compete with any team in the country. It's just very hard to compare Boise with let's say LSU when we make the comparison of how Boise beat Fresno State compared to Nebraska. Fresno State is not a good team this year. Nebraska is a good team but not a great team they struggled against a very down Ohio State team at home in Lincoln.

Each year every team is different and Boise has shown consistency the past few years. Until Boise is in a tough BCS Automatic Qualifying Conference they will not get a shot at the BCS National Championship unless there is a one-loss Conference Championship team from The Big 10, Big 12, PAC 12 or SEC. Even at that Boise still might not get a shot and that is unfair.

Boise is kind of in the "Damned If You Do Damned If You Don't," situation. If they beat the hell out of the teams on their schedule everyone will say they were supposed to. If they don't beat the the hell out of the teams on their schedule by big blow outs they are still screwed.

The SEC is looking to invite Mizzou to the Conference which I think is a Big Mistake. If Mizzou goes to the SEC then the Big 12 will only have 11 Teams (TCU just got invited to the Big 12). The Big 12 should really bring Boise State on. I think it would be a great addition to the Big 12.

The BCS should at least match Boise up with an SEC team in the Sugar Bowl this year. It's gets really boring watching the same bowl conference match ups every single year. I am sure the BCS will put you guys in the Tostitos Bowl and you will blow away a Pac 12 or other conference team instead of a team from the Big 10, Big 12 or SEC.
