Welcome to WEEK 5 OF NCAA FOOTBALL (PICK EM) Major Match-UPS! If this is your first week to play we are only selecting from the Major Match-UPS this year. Most people really don't care if you picked Central Eastern State to beat North Central Tech.

RULES: I have attached and posted the USA Today Odds for these twelve games and chose the "average," of all of the different odds making services that USA Today endorses.

Oh man. I missed the deadline on the So. Florida/Pitt game. It just started. I would have gone with So. Florida but that's neither here nor there now. I will post my official picks for the rest of the games later tonight or early tomorrow.

This Bronco doesn't ride bareback nor have I ever stayed overnight at Brokeback Mountain.

I was in the Army and more than once we had to risk our tactical unit under fire to rescue you dumb ass marines in the midst of an ambush. You're nothing what you purport to be.

With that said, I see Pitt is leading So. Florida 34-14 going into the 4th quarter. Damn lucky I showed up late. I see the rest of you folks crapped out in the initial pick. Oh well. Keep your chins up. It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings. :D

Aerating your lawn is one of the best gifts you can give it.

If you have a grass that thatches up (dead grass collects underneath which makes it spongy to walk on) it's a good idea to dethatch it mechanically too. If you have a warm season grass wait until the spring tho. Otherwise depending on where you live and the climate you could kill it. If you have thatchy grass aerating it only will not provide the best results. Good luck.

Point spreads are easy to understand. If a team is (+7) just imagine that it gets a free touchdown before the game starts. (-7)? Reverse it.

Thank you for taking care of your lawn. People should be kinder to their grass. It has feelings too.

I have a newfound respect for your home state, bama.

I read that your legislators have enacted some pretty tough laws against illegal migrants (to include mandatory E-Verify) and one of your top justices just upheld the law. According to the article I read the illegals are scattering like rabbits, which is opening up jobs for unemployed citizens and cleaning out the schools so that the teachers will have more time to devote to children who are actually citizens. All good things.

My question is which neighboring state will the illegal indigents flee to? Georgia and Mississippi are pretty conservative, right? I don't think they will look too kindly on being the reservoir for Alabama's former illegal migrants. But isn't Tennessee a more progressive state? I guess if I were an illegal I would think about going there. Just a guess.

But congratulations to you folks for taking care of your own and trying to get your house in order. No doubt it will save some taxpayer bucks and help clean up some neighborhoods.

I commend your leaders. You should be proud of them.
