Seriously yes.....I will start to look to in the near future... we are not getting the same info we got before and we were told we would hear something and now we won't hear for awhile??? I need to be paid it's a shame because I love this job.
Does publicis pay every two weeks or just 1st and 15th for Merck flex position?
HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol! yes they should have spell checked but I agree I want this to go on, I love this job I hope we get some clarification also.
If there is a renewal - it won't be announced until sometime closer to summer 2013. If there is a new product - will mean the viability of this contract. Bottom line is that contract is a temporary job, and the best thing to do to protect yourself is to find a permanent position in another company or industry. I can live with the uncertainty if I knew that the contract was really in place until Dec 2013, but Merck/Publicis can end the contract or your employment at any time, which makes it very hard to plan for the future.
PS I really like this job and find the flex time fantastic.
Isn't every job a temporary job these days? This company has stood by me more than once. I feel more secure here than anywhere else.
