Tomorrow they’ll come clean and say that it’s all a joke! Don’t you remember at the NSM that Mike P said there were going to be NO more changes! He said it at least 3 times. He’s not going to lie to us.

Doesn’t matter where the guy is from. He and Claus are here to execute this transformation and restore profitability. We know they don’t actually give a rats ass about the old Astellas, the culture we always talk about or us. We’re interchangeable parts to them. They have us because we need our jobs and they know that. Companies in our industry downsize all the time, but this new Executive Leadership team continues to disappoint in the way they treat their people.Mike P is not Greek…. He’s from Mississippi
We have to make major changes here, or the company will be like one of those malls that have turned into huge ugly eyesores. In this industry, "changes" usually means downsizing of headcount, starting with us. All of this whining about how the ELT doesnt care about us, or how mean and evil Claus and Mike P are makes no sense to me. This is a business, not a Montessori school that hands out participation trophies to every Conor, Biana, Colin and Brittany. Grow a pair, willya?Mike P is not Greek…. He’s from Mississippi

FINALLY someone speaks the truth. Sadly, you are spot on!Veozah is a great product that fell victim to poor leadership, planning, and support. We were completely over confident and didn’t do what it takes to have a successful product launch in 2023. Our MHC leadership was arrogant and thought that PBMs would come begging us for a contract. How naive. Then, when our copay cards didn’t work through “continuity of care” they did not believe it and pointed fingers at the sales force for not executing. Our overzealous compliance team lent a hand by not allowing us to know which pharmacies even participated. Our sales force remained in a Myrbetriq alignment for the launch, and our launch target lists were a complete joke. In my world, 80% of our writers 6 months into the launch were not on the initial target list. When our results weren’t looking good in January, marketing, MHC, and senior leaders pointed fingers at the sales force and handcuffed us to reach and frequency metrics. Veozah was never going to be a 2 -3 Billion dollar product in 2-3 years, but we would be much better off if we had started in the right alignment with some decent managed care coverage. We also pissed away millions of dollars on a vague Super Bowl ad and an ineffective DTC campaign. We ran most of our early DTC adds during NFL games- because ALL post menopausal women are glued to the big games on Monday night, Thursday night, and Sundays….. Ever consider Fox News or CNN? So don’t go blaming our new leadership team for this mess. They are probably wondering what the hell they got into. Then there’s the lone survivor, David Boyd. After leading the disastrous Veozah launch, he managed to get promoted twice while his VP colleagues were shown the door. What a travesty. He must have a very compelling video of Mike P. And Klaus…. Good luck to everyone in the Veozah sales force. This is going to be a perpetual shit show, and the lucky ones might be the ones who get early pink slips.
RespectFINALLY someone speaks the truth. Sadly, you are spot on!
