It takes 8 months of legal review to get a Bin Label approved, I'm pretty sure they took more than a few seconds making sure this restructuring is not breaking any laws.

60 days pre-notification or 60 days pay continuance. Abbott goes for the latter so...there you go.

If they layoff 500 or more people...they must pay you for an additional 60 days. You should get it.

so is the next layoff March 31st? in line with the end of the quarter? I heard it was going to be a 2% cut of the nutrition force. I thought they didnt owe you anything. serverence is what they call your best bonus

The WARN act was incorporated into the severance package. 60 days first - then 1 week for every year of service + # of weeks vacation + 1/2 week for every year over age 40. Plus full health benefits through end of Pay.
