"WAR STORIES....."

Let's have them, out with them.

You know what I'm talking about....those reps and DM's that have a story for any occasion, no matter if they've told it 300 times before or a variation of it. Most of them are half-truths or out right lies but some are real....most are just "Hey, look at me!" or vain attempts to one up each other.

I'll being this class:

"So, do you know what I did with that Dr? Well, he wasn't writing LX AT ALL, so one day I just went in during another reps lunch, cornered him in the sample closet, closed the door and went at him. I said he was doing his pts a disservice and there is no good reason he isn't writing and he isn't leaving the closet until he takes some LX samples and gives them to a pts...well, he kicked me out of his office....BUT HE STARTED WRITING!" - Of course what super rep doesn't tell you is that LX get a huge coverage win in his territory but whatever

Most are told by the "Old Class" those from the good old days when LX was king and everyone was pushing it.

Any other good ones?

The fact that you consider this a good "war story" only reinforces why there will be a downsizing. So you basically acted like a crazy h00ker girlfriend and wouldn't leave until he wrote one of the highest selling drugs of all time. Nice.... Real proud of of ya.

Come back to me when you have a story about nose-candy, lappers, and booze

Op here! This is a thread about tired war stories told by your counter parts or washed up DMs. If you bothered to read you would have known this.

That being said, please share your nose candy stories.

I went into a no see office asked if they had a open appointment time that day and they did! So I scheduled myself for it and when the doctor came in I stood by the door detailing all my products and would not let him out until he committed 5 patients for each product. They ended up billing me and my insurance, but 9 months later he wrote his first script of lexapro and that was all me. So you should do that any no see office. Even as a fresh out of the Commack box rep I knew that sounded like the worst idea ever.

Great post. That's what I, as a DM, call thinking out of the box.
