Hospitals are pretty much off limits to us, and access is way down in doctors' offices. Even if we get in to see a doc, we only get a couple of minutes at most. So why would a company pay for 1 rep with ten years (and a high salary), when they can get 2-3 reps at the starting salary? Its not like we really have time to sell anymore. And every pharma company is down to ~50% in size of what they were 5 years ago. Result: tons of former reps and managers looking for very few openings.
