I thought that all of this ERG stuff was supposed to make us more diverse. Stronger. Well it appears the old guard “white men” were much better at running a company then this new “woke” leadership team. They are good at standing up for transgender and minorities but bad at running a company. I think they should all go work for a non profit. It’s one poor decision after another. Wasted billions of $$$ and no one is accountable. See they now choose people by the color of their skin or gender. not the content of their character. By the way, new EDs of ONc are also a joke. They manage up and like to hear themselves talk. Mostly word vomit. No authenticity.

Here's the thing.. the white men in our Region who didn't perform well and did nothing extra during the year got significantly more increase in salary than the award winning women on the team that literally busted their assess last year. Stop with the 'poor white men" sh**. Good ol' white boy's club is still alive and well. Even with an RD that everyone thought was not like that. Damn shame and yes... you may be shocked to know that people do openly discuss their increases and THIS is why.

I agree - I was shocked how overtly racist blacks were during the “diversity” scam / cultural sensitivity scam that was quickly rescinded when feedback came rolling in.

How would you know how black people feel? Do you work in HR or did the company share employee responses? I do not work for Gilead but I am curious as to what they were saying?? I think DEI is taking over pharma by storm at all companies and I am surprised at how reverse discrimination is alive and well. The things minorities say and do are left unchecked because no one wants to "deal" with their behavior. It would be taboo. And I think minorities know this so they get away with anything. So unprofessional.....
