The vibe I’m catching is sun is expecting us to be out of the field for awhile and the industry is changing. Rolling out engage seems to be a sign they believe virtual meetings is the future. The larger question is: will offices and physicians want to participate?

If you pay them, then they will come. If you offer CME, a small few will come. If you offer free food, PA/NPs will come. If you offer a brilliant opportunity to hear about SUN Pharma products and their life-saving position, then no one will come.

If Reps think they can FaceTime prescribers, that will not work for too long if at all. Docs have to make up income lost. Reps will not be in that picture for some time to come.

No HCP wants to do a virtual program. They barely want you in the office because your not providing anything other than regurgitating the same message that marketing has come up with(or lack there of with LD). Management has no clue what to do and they just strike fear into managers who then beat down on reps. Turnover is coming

So far I have had my manager give me a heads up so we all cover the metrics that are being looked at. I’m not crazy about the virtual stuff but I’m still getting paid. I’ll do these lunches and try to sell some drugs. Nobody has asked me to compromise on anything. And yes turnover is always coming when you work for Sun. If you don’t want to sell why did you take a sales job?
