Viiv has imploded the last 3 years. It is embarrassing representing these products. Like this article states, we were led to believe 2DR would be groundbreaking. At meetings, we were told to expect to get a huge chunk of the market. Nobody has bought in - nobody. We have lost a ton more business in Triumeq/Tivicay than we have gained. Now, our “groundbreaking” shot is actually, somehow, performing far worse than the worst launch in history - Dovato. It’s crazy the media took this long to call us out.

some brainiac was tossing back a few too many in 2020 and not trying to launch a HIV drug

instead they said hey let’s make a hi drug launch exactly how we did a primary care drug at sanofi. Then let’s try to force hiv doctors to use a pharmacy they don’t like nor is it convenient to patients then have no alternative sites of injection then call doctors heartless and say they don’t care about their patients. Then not support your sales team working their asses off.
So yes worst launch experience ever! Need a management team with hiv experience and stop bringing in primary care reps thinking they can just pop right into an hiv office because they sold an injectable. Who are you sanofi people- you have created so much drama and chaos!
