Who is the “genius” that booked ViiV’s upcoming nat’l meeting in Nashville?? TN is pushing for laws against trans youth receiving healthcare and criminalizing drag queens performing near anyone under age 18. ViiV, very disappointed in the corporate hypocrisy! Having meeting in TN doesn’t align with company’s mission. What do we say to our HCPS and our ASO that we sent several hundred employees to come together to support “no patient left behind” when the trans and drag communities are being targeted!! DO BETTER VIIV!

WTF! Don’t think that’s what OP meant and didn’t read into post there was some nefarious agenda. It’s having meeting in state that’s embroiled in a hot political and moral mess involving hurting members of the transgender community. ViiV is to support all members of the LGBTQIA right?

Last time I was there tons of half naked drunk bachelorettes puking on the streets. Overcrowded, dirty, and stench of homophobia thick in air over vomit smell. If that’s your thing then Nashville is perfect for you but for ViiV to have meeting there right now isn’t smart.
 








They didn’t intentionally place a meeting there to offend anyone. What happened is a political issue. Unfolded after the meeting was confirmed. It’s something scheduled months before snd you can’t just move a meeting to a new location.
Viiv should acknowledge this situation and discuss what to do about it. They took at stand on multiple political issues and to just ignore this issue on transgender rights, this is not a good message to the employees or to the community. Think of the products and people Viiv represents and then think about your words that are rude bullying behaviors and discriminatory.

Honestly since the 2DR launch failures, we aren’t seen as a real player in HIV anymore, anyway.

Maybe the company should acknowledge the drugs they selk and the population- not sure why this is a bay area nice or not issue… could be Miami, Puerto Rico, Seattle, Chicago, LA, NYC they all make you money

Maybe Nashville doesn't want you either. Plenty of business in Music City, USA. Proud of our governor for taking a stand for standards of decency when it comes to children and their exposure to any type of sexual content before they reach an appropriate age, around 6th grade at the earliest. Consenting adults, do whatever, but children must be protected from manipulation and abuse.

Drag queens that have been around for 100’s of years are abusing kids in TN? Or is this a republican issue segregating transgenders and gays?

Wow, how proud you must be to sell HIV drugs and shelter your kids from the gays in TN. Without San Francisco or NY or LA you wouldn’t be working. Maybe the morals and values in your state need to focus on real issues not go backwards in time and push agendas. Great job TN - state of bigotry and haters. Viiv shouldn’t want people like you polluting the company with you are disconnected from the leaving no patient behind message. To the OP. Stop being a victim. Stop projecting victimization on others. Stop making everything a political homophobic issue. However you identify be proud and stand tall. At ViiV we got your back. Attend the meeting and learn something. Take it back to your territory and make a difference to those who can benefit. As far as the location of the meeting, how about something West of the Rockies? You want a city where anything goes? Try Vegas. Race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, they could care less. Just bring $$$ and all is good.

I love it! Great choice as Nashville is an amazing and fun city. I love that their values are aligned with him.
