I have a video interview coming up for a GI rep opening. Has anyone experienced one of these? What do they entail? Honest answers only please.

You've gotta strip and wear pasties. But seriously, they send you a web cam, you set it up and call the organizer, they make sure the webcam is functioning. Most nonWC companies let you keep the cam, because it's very cheesy w/no microphone. I'm sure WC will want it back.
This company will suck every bit of joy out of your life. No future, crap products, no coverage.
Don't even turn the thing on. You are wasting your time with this company. Just send the webcam back and tell them no thanks.
Turn it on. Expect STAR questions. Greatest Sales Accomplishment? Going above and beyond? Why Pharma? etc.
First question is a slow softball. Then they throw the bright lights on with a tough question - and watch every move you make.
Just make shit up, lie, bribe, cheat, and steal something from your desk at the end. That will show you are Warner Chilcott material and get you a job for 6 months.
They ask a lot of the same phone screen questions. Tell me about a time when.... What is your proudest moment.... When did you fail......
Things like that.
They will flash a question and then you have like a minute or so to answer and you will be recorded. It is not that bad. Just look into the camera (not the picture of yourself floating on the screen) and pretend you are talking to someone who is really there.
It is a little weird but if you can do well in person and on the phone, you should be able to do well in a room by yourself.

It's specifically to make sure you are young, hot and white before they spend any money flying you out to meet someone face to face. If they turn on the camera and see you are in your 40's you fail!
Damn right. Better be hot or we don't need you. Cheap is good too.
JUST remember this is still an interview. Dress professionally, brush your teeth, comb yoyr hair and etc.... Act as if you are really going to an interview.
