Vest, Worcester position

Saw an opening in Worcester MA. Thinking of applying.....any input on comp and manager. Thanks

Run. Run as fast as you can. The militaristic manager is useless and has unrealistic expectations and will speak to you unprofessionally and degrade your every move. The AD is also a POS. You do not want this job. You also won’t make much because the goal is unrealistic.

What happened to previous rep?

Won’t comment on that. However will say every 2 years New England has a new batch of TMs and new RMs. Larry won’t have too much longer based on Mike’s (AD) timeline. He cans people because he can’t do his job and think critically about a challenging situation. Instead the insane turnover continues. That’s how stupid people conserve their jobs and pull the wool over peoples eyes. Go for it if you want. Take this board with a grain of salt. But I haven’t seen any other company getting publicly bashed like they do. Just google the device, patient experience and see. Better yet work with a recruiter who is in step with the industry. Ask them about lifevest. Ask them about the turnover. Ask them why some recruiters won’t except them as a client. Terrible people terrible company horribly unethical. If you like losing sleep making no money and being micromanaged then interview.

Won’t comment on that. Will say 2 years is the life span for TM and RM in New England generally speaking. Larry will be canned soon enough with Mike’s (ad) timeline. Mike cannot think critically or strategically about a challenging situation. He gets rid of people to save his own butt so they keep hiring. It’s pathetic and obvious but if no ones looking people like him continue. Larry is no better. He will fail hard. Just google the device and you will see enough. Better yet talk to a recruiter who is in step with the industry. Ask them about lifevest. Ask them how many candidates they always have from LV. Ask them why some recruiters dropped Zoll as their client. Unethical towards employees and patients. If you don’t care about working ethically and just want a job and like being micromanaged for 2 years then go for it. Take what you see here with a grain of salt. Both sides. But I’ve never seen another company constantly getting bashed like this. Lastly, the truth lies in the negativity you see on this board. It’s sad. Don’t come here is my advice.

How many times, year after year, do people post the same thing on here. After the inevitable reply of many, many current or former employees who are entirely in the know, the person takes the job anyway. In 18 months they’re on a plan or already gone. It’s total Groundhog Day

i thought my current company was the most fucked up place. after reading zolls posts i have to congratulate them, you guys take the cake; leadership should be embarrassed.

I hope you realize that it took that one moron three attempts to post his essay. They’re all virtually identical, but he started from scratch every time because he couldn’t figure out he already posted. If this is who you want to look to for advice, good luck in your search. No wonder you’re out of a job. It’s a good opportunity, not perfect, but the company has a great mission, great product, and the culture is improving. I hope you find better ways to evaluate your options than on this cancerous board.

I connected with an RM and two TMs through LinkedIn, then spoke to all three.
HR lacked responsiveness, a sense of urgency, or intel on the region itself.
All these influenced my interest level, or lack of, and nothing could overcome the missed primary end points of the VEST study. But look at the bright side, it did hit it’s secondary end points. Participation trophies for all!

Do not walk away from this opportunity. Run! Run fast and don’t look back. The manager is a pompous militaristic douche and the director is the worse in the entire industry. He will ride with you and pick apart every single word you do or do not say total nightmare scenario

There is nothing wrong with that AD. You are a psychopath that couldn’t sell water in the desert. Get a life! This is the best job if you make it that way. If you suck the bye
