Vertex rep here

Yes, it sucks here. There will be many open spots soon bc everyone is interviewing elsewhere. Unfortunately, we are all tainted w abbvie on our resumes unless we lie like the Gonz. Nobody wants us any longer. The product is going to get withdrawn by eoy.

But dude, chill out. We know that we lost. Dont rub it in please. It already sux being us.

We will NOT take it off the market. It has the same efficacy so there's no reason to give up, unlike your career here.

You're lucky to be gone. But why the animosity?

Oh for Effs sake. What is wrong with you people? Why don't you understand how wonderful it can be to look at this board, after leaving this dump. It is completely gratifying. It is a resounding reminder that you have made the right choice by exiting. And I am not even the vertex rep you are addressing. Have you never left for greener pastures? No, you are probably one of the dinosaurs that has never had another job. You can't even imagine the exhilaration of going elsewhere and hearing about the misery you left behind. It takes courage to leave, and this is just one of the fine rewards. Try it. It is fabulous. See you again soon. I just love the pick me up I get from reading the sorry ass posts from management thugs trying to beat everyone into submission.

Hey genius...I said the OP was lucky to be gone. What don't you understand about that? That said, I know you're not happy at BI so I'm curious about the bitterness towards Abbvie? That was the point (which you're obviously not bright enough to pick up on) of my reply.

As a former vertex and abbvie hcv person I am greatful to abbvie. I just wish they had a better strategy. I left for better opportunity and am not bitter.

Completely agree. Product is inferior in key ways, strategy is completely flawed, and upper management refused and continues to refuse to listen to the people on the payroll who understand the HCV market. I really think they've tried to make it work, and have been pretty good to us overall for whatever that's worth. That won't mean much when the inevitable layoffs occur though.

Im not that smart, I came up with our managed care strategy but is that how you spell grateful? How do you have a job. Oh that's right. It's pharmacy sales.

Just talked to an old friend at Gilead. She told me they are crushing you! So glad I left for greener pastures. Sucks to be you! Losers!

You had to hear this from a Gilead rep?? Anyone with a brain in their head already knows this - so you sound like a typical brainless Vertex rep who sucked then and still sucks now.

Most vertex reps weren't all that awesome so get over yourselves. Just like Gilead reps, you got lucky having the better product at that time. When Achillion comes to market, Gilead will be squeezed out too.

Most vertex people left ASAP. So keep hating and in 20 years you can have a pension. It sounds like everyone is just lucky but you. Weird

Speaking of Achillion, that is the company we need to buy. Not for their NS5A (ACH-3102) or their PI. They have a Nuc also (ACH-3422), 4 log HCV reduction in monotherapy. Put that with OMB/PTV/r and you have a potent combo. This way we could dump that shit ass DSV and its BID dosing. It would also set us up for a great combo with our Second Generation (definitely could look at shorter treatment duration). Second Gen has no RTV.

Makes sense, but the thing you're chasing is receding from you at the speed of light. You may never catch up. I have never seen a market transform like this so fast.
