Vegas meeting recap

Sitting here today grateful to have the day off after an exhausting week. First off, I don't hate it here at Novartis, I feel fortunate to have this job and enjoy what I do. I can even say that I enjoyed part of the meeting. However, the cost, the time away from the field don't even come close to making it worth our time. When are we going to wake up and realize that the ROI is just not there. If you looked around you noticed the vast majority of the reps are older seasoned reps who have heard these workshops many times before. Even the ABLs seemed to be going through the motions leading these sessions. Come on Novartis leadership, one of you stand up and demand change. We don't need these meetings, we don't need to incur the cost, we don't need to take time away from our territories for that. Maybe ask AI since that's what they talk about half of the time.

Agree. But it is a tax write-off. That's the only reason they do these meetings. Well, also to let upper management have something to put in their performance evaluation.

But, yes, these meetings should ALWAYS be in Teams.

Overall, the NSM was great. Props to our HQ team that orchestrated travel (airline and shuttle bus service), meals,/drinks, general/breakout sessions, and luxury room accommodations for the sales force. We know you put in significant overtime hours to make this meeting successful. Thanks and we will see you next year!

Written by a meeting planner. The food was disgusting and way too many people. We fly across the country for nothing new but the same shit. Plus this could of been done in 3 days.

The Vegas meeting was much better than past meetings, my suggestions are to have workshops each day, but be free for a he evenings, be able to get what you want for dinner each night,

I had to make changes to my flight reservations and the on-site meeting staff provided both friendly and professional assistance. As for the meals, the Venetian did a pretty good job of providing a variety of food options even for vegans like me. Instead of dissing the folks working behind the scenes at the NSM, give them the props they rightly deserve. It is troubling that a small number of entitled reps constantly complain about everything at Novartis. If I was your manager, you would be shown the exit door ASAP!

Hi I just wanted to say the NSM was the best ever. We received some incredible new tools to put in our tool boxes and we will drive results in 2025. Everyone at the meeting was incredible and I left feeling empowered. I can’t wait until our next NSM.
ME TOO LITTLE JOHNNY! Gee wiz guys, the meeting was a killer! Almost scored with a cute chick, got to second base then she chickened out! The “cute chick chickened out”! Get it! It’s a cool joke! I learned some really neat stuff too, just don’t know where I will or if I will use it. The tried-and-true “sign here Doc”, seems to still work just fine!

Hey Everyone: At the NSM, I truly met my future wife. We didn't know each other until we met at Monday evening's welcome reception! I was smitten by her beauty and smarts. While we live in different states, we hope to both get jobs at HQ. Happy New Year!

Congratulations, team mates (also teammates). I think this is a prime example of reimagining team members.

Team, fight, go team, go, team!
