VBU No Q3 goals, no up to date rank report, and paying new hires more than tenured top performers

Don’t forget accountability. I have a massive territory, with many customers I met for the first time in April, and I am currently accountable to grow 1 brand, protect another, launch 2 brands for a teeny tiny bonus, 1 brand for nothing, and pull through flu. My goals have been ridiculous and my bonus will be the lowest of my entire long and distinguished career. I have leadership whiplash, a FLL who is not incentivized on said brands, and priority fatigue. I’ve been very successful in this industry for a long time, and I loved the VBU and the way it empowered and trusted its sales force. Hopefully he can put an end to the cat fight at the top- some days I feel like leadership said “what can we do to demotivate and demoralize the field?”
Just like patient 1st, something has to give, I hope that it is soon.

Post says it all. It is accurate. Something does have to go and GSK VBU does not care. They'd rather see you go. Shame on the VBU leadership.

This is a new GSK Vaccines Specialist posting. So we're not talking about a vaccines account manager, rather the starting role in field sales in vaccines.

"GSK offers a competitive compensation package inclusive of the following: Competitive base salary and annual bonus The salary range for this role is: $114,215 to $154,526".

How many tenured accomplished GSK vaccine reps make anywhere near 135K. Just wondering.

New reps will get hired within that range and never make much more over their career due to GSK's crummy annual raise process. Competitive bonus??? Within the vaccines universe probably competitive vs other players- however vs the industry as a whole crummy bonuses.

Bonus potential is low due to the nature of the sale, similar to commodities. If you want a job in pharmaceutical sales with a grunt like role, vaccines is for you.
