Dan would be an absolute train wreck running these brands. Hopefully, they bring over some of the people who know what the hell they are doing. Dan has had limited success here. Still benefiting from others who set the stage a long time ago.
 
















The only management coming over from Valeant are Regionals, so our glorious and very experienced aesthetic leadership will be steering this ship...right into the rocks! And I do agree with previous posters that it was Valeant that has tainted these brands, now a company that is going down in the eyes of the derm world is taking them over. I don't think Galderma will see any bump in sales of this stuff, just the status quo or maybe a reduction in sales.

The single largest concern is that Galderma is not committed to aesthetics and has ZERO experience in it. When we launced A&C back in '07, they tried to run it like a regular pharma sales force. Aesthetics is not like that, there are back door deals and you can't keep your thumb on this type of sales rep (signatures)...the business just doesn't run that way. And with the investment and need of this success for Galderma, they will try and "manage" the Medicis/Valeant reps that way and drive them right out of the company...guaranteeing the failure of this venture.
 








RW canned at Valeant Aesthetics today. One less piece of garbage to come over. Seriously we are NOT bringing their RD sales are we? A mental r***** could do better than that bald guy.
 




You're making it obvious who you are. And couldn't be more wrong about RW and the RDs. Everyone knows RW quit and they needed to make it look planned because of all the allergan crap.
 




Sure he quit. Keep drinking the kool aid. In Dec 12 he is an EVP Group Chairman over Derm and Aesthetics and yesterday ran only the Aesthetics biz being sold whose share has plummeted under his watch. He quit--sure.

Weldon... I know you have a lot of free time now... but stop posting positive comments about your leadership. You were/are a talking puppet for Mike. He literally makes your mouth move.

Very true. The Valeant directors went out of their way to remove Medicis people. Just removed another 4 or 5 through this acquisition. We lost great people and continue to gamble on the low quality, no experience hopeful's that were desperate enough to join Valeant within the past 9 months. RW and EB should be expelled from the industry. They've gone on record saying customers don't matter, reps are all replaceable and only MP understands this industry. Now that VRX will be behind us, RW resigned and EB has begun to adopt and align himself to his new boss. EB is a useless coward, incapable of independent thought. He only cares about himself. RW, EB, NJ and RR made all the headcount selections. They have 6 years cumulative experience and have never been successful in AES. It's been a race to kiss the insecure RW's ass and these three have been lined up puckering for months.
Ask EB, NJ or RR how many top customers they have relationships with. Ash them how many talented people actually respect them or just pretend to tolerate them because they've had RW's ear. They continue to embarrass themselves.
If we don't employ real leaders this will continue to fail. We are all hopeful that Galderma will recognize their incompetence early so we don't loose more talent and customers. Derm reps and Sculptra rejects that tell EB, RR and NJ how smart they are have proved to be unsuccessful in this space.
