no nothing has happened yet. They could be preparing. Rumor is could be tomorrow or later this week still.
Why surprised? The motherfuckers own us all now, let the slow death begin. Rochester first, then Waterford, then all off to Poland, only to find out that it's not so good there, just like the Germans did in the early 1940's.
Haven't seen anyone at 3365 yet. I didn't think they would do anything with Surgical yet. They have too many other folks to throw in the fire right now.
D&R gone. Corporate security gone. IT gone. At this rate no one will be left by 10:30.
Based on some of the IT cuts I'm privy to, it's position based on not at all based on individual worth or value. Some great employees going, some not so good one's staying. It seems as though Valeant isn't analyzing the individuals they're keeping or canning. Understand the strategy, but that sucks.
The cuts in Rochester have been at all levels. The cuts have been "upstairs" (non-Rochester manufacturing) so far. Some people have been told their last day is today, others have been given 2 weeks. Rochester Manufacturing hasn't been told when the cuts will start for them.
Layoffs happening in Canada right now... several let go at head office and a conference call later today by the a-holes to let us know what they're up to next
So instead of the quick cuts with a razor, they chose a slow vice for the next 8 months? This will be good for productivity I'm sure.
