That was not the question. I was inquiring about the vacation time one would receive when the are first hired. I am currently getting 4 weeks

I got three weeks when I first started

3 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick, 1 floating holiday and a volunteer day. After 5 years you get another week of vacation. Shut down Christmas to New Years.

The week of 4th of July off is true, it was announced last week at the National Sales Meeting (at least all the sales forces get it off)

As far as I understand, for sales reps 3 weeks is what you get, regardless of tenure from previous company.
However, they do shut down for July 4th week (that is new for this year) and Christmas to New Year's, so that essentially adds 2 weeks to your vacation, which I don't think is too shabby.
