Vacation and personal days

So last year for those that got let go. Did company payout personal or vacation time ?? I rolled over some plus 3 or 4 weeks

You accrue vacation each month. If you receive 10 days vacation each year you accrue 1 day each month through the month of October. You do not accrue vacation during November and December. If you get 15 days a year you accrue 1 1/2 days per month. If you are let go in March you have accrued vacation for 2 months only. That is how you will be paid for it. So use your personal days now if you need time off from not working because you will not be paid for them if you are let go.

Yes, paid less taxes for vacation. After taxes deducted it's like you only get 70% or so of each vacation day.

You don't get paid for sick days when you are let go because you do not accrue sick days.
