Does anyone else have an FLL that just micro manages the hell out of you and comes up with stupid busy work several times a week? I’ve never seen a company that try’s so hard to complicate simple stuff. Let’s not talk about field rides. What a damn nightmare. Can’t even take a piss. Damn fool won’t shut the hell up for ten seconds. Can’t wait to get the hell outta here. And Kim S is an idiot. It’s amazing how many blind souls she has kissing her butt. The VBU is finished. Only the butt kissers and blind will remain.

Before the last layoff I had to ride with my manager in Respiratory division. During our interactions with my clients she just stood there with a clip board and made check marks when I complied with the COCO BS. It was beyond embarrassing and I heard from my doctors later how strange they thought it was. Soon after we were able to say if we wanted to take the package. I did it in a heartbeat - got the package- and view my last few years at GSK as some of the most awful I have ever experienced. Can’t believe from some of these posts that it’s even worse!!!!
It is wayyyy worse. I’ve seen my FLL keep two reps till 6 pm on a field ride. Even when my FLL takes a vacation He’s a pain in the ass. These FLL’s are super micromanagers. All they do is sit around in their basement at home and think of how to create more work. They have to justify their job somehow. The fact is, we really don’t need them much.
VBU has many worthless managers. Juanita McDonough ranks among the top.

FLL's are a product of the culture that GSK promotes and I agree it's probably not the best. Sure some are above the curve, others below but most generally march to orders from above so put the blame on second line or higher up people.

No not the same rep, Juanita is really a two faced back stabbing manager who would throw any of her reps under the bus. Just saying.
It will never be fixed. The corporate culture. It’s a systemic issue that goes back decades. Two ways to fix the problem. The first would be to fire management from the Sales VPs all the way down to the FLLs. Replace them all with qualified fields reps or from managers from smaller outside organizations. Obviously that won’t happen. The second way to rid GSK of its toxic culture is for the company to be dismantled. That may be coming sooner that we think. It’s just a job at this point. Checking boxes, fake smiles, and disingenuous head nodding.
You might be right. It’s the one name I keep seeing. If so, The rep must really hate her guts. If they hate her that bad I hope they are looking for another job. Not healthy to feel that angry at a job for a long time.
I am sure a lot of people on here are already looking for another job, but are just expressing their current frustrations.

Just look around. RVP,s, FLL's and reps. Many are leaving. You cannot whip a dead horse and win the race.

This is accurate. The people that are leaving have seen the writing on the wall. The micromanaging, negative culture is toxic. Get out. There is no magical severance coming.
Who needs to leave are the people who think they have a pass from KS because they have “a close relationship with her”. What joke …do your job or move on.
I’m okay with my FLL riding along as much as she wants. Because at least I get to see that behind. Sniff the seat after she leaves too
