got an email from my boss with my payout, no final KIT or numbers--just the $$ amount. I blew it out of the water according to the last KIT report we received I was on pace to make a good bonus but the actual bonus does not reflect that. i'm unhappy but what are you gonna do? they can make up whatever they want

I gave a two week notice and they ended my employment that day. So much for doing the right thing when you are in good standing with a company. It is a terrible precedent to set for not accepting 2 week notices.

Now I just got an email from my manger with my Q2 payout and my Total Payout is more than what they are giving me. They just keep screwing the people that made them a done of dough, when we had nothing to do with the end of this contract, except make URL actractive to a company to overpay for it.

Thanks a bunch...

Bonus is affected by the "weighting". You have to look at the formula given to us in the bonus powerpoint provided earlier this year. You take the number of scripts you grew from Q1 times by $1.63 and times that by your territory weighting. Then multiple $15 for every Rx over goal, then take total times your territory weighting and add both totals together. The weighting can effect your expected payout and your rankings as a result. If you went over goal with the expected company growth (not Q1 baseline) you get $15 per each script over. Unfortunately if you went over goal, the spreadsheets showed the wrong payout under total payout at $15 for every script over Q1 (vs calculating $1.63 baseline to goal and then $15 over goal). Too bad your manager didnt explain it.

Shut up

They do not choose if you make bonus, you choose, and if you don't make bonus it is simply because you can't sell, NO OTHER REASON. If you can't sell the only colchicine on the market, you don't deserve a bonus and you certainly won't make it with any other pharma company. As easy as selling water in the desert. Stop whinning about what "they" did to you. Time to find a new industry cause you clearly can't cut it in pharma.
