Crazy to think that Ohio State imposed a self sanction on themselves this year to be non bowl eligible.

I feel bad for the players on that team who had nothing to do with that nonsense that went on under that coach who wore that vest...

They have a great team this year!

Not that great. Look at the scores and who they played. Many games were squeakers. I agree OSU is a good team. Not a great team. Rather, a lucky team - like ND. But unlucky in the sense that they are under sanctions and ineligible for a bowl game.

But that goal line stand against Wisconsin yesterday was spectacular. From the one yard line the OSU defender strippe the damn ball right from the Wisconsin running backs hands and a OSU player caught it. Nothing short of spectacular!!! :D

Be quiet, Harry. Urban wasn't god to you when he was coaching the Gators, was he?

Just hope he doesn't have a heart attack and go back to ESPN.

I must give OSU a huge hat tip tho. No matter who they play they always seem to find a way to win. Some of their margins of victory were tiny against mediocre teams. But the fact is that they still won. And winning is the most important factor of being on top. Look at Notre Dame. By all accounts Notre Dame is not that good a team if you look at their stats and margins of victory. But always end up with more points at the final buzzer. And at the end of the day that's all that really counts.

I was watching ESPN this morning and they went over a very real possibility of Ohio State finishing #1 in the AP poll.

It would be something like Notre Dame beating USC and going to the National Championship game and then losing---and Alabama losing their last game of the year and not making it to the National Championship game.

Pretty interesting...

Why would it be a given that Alabama goes to the NC game? I really don't understand that thinking. It's not like Alabama is the only f...ing team in the nation with one loss.

Please, someone explain that to me. Why do you assume Alabama goes to the NC game with one loss?
