Any information you can offer about this position....Manager, geography, is it still open?

Still open

Position is still being created so nobody fully knows what it will entail.

Old Reimbursement position was consultative in nature, really good job but starting going downhill because of Neuro sales management. With recent layoffs they got rid of that team and rolled them into this one. My guess is you're basically a glorified sales rep that is blamed when the dopey sales reps/managers miss their number.

Manager is ok. Not bad, not great. Very corporate.

Once Actavis/Forest or Valeant buys us their is a good chance the position is eliminated so I would pursue it. Once this happens and Neuro sales decides what stays and what goes, Neuro sales leadership will keep 3 reps and two managers doing the same thing covering the same area but they will get rid of the team that handles complex reimbursement issues that sales cannot touch.

Sorry if you were looking for a better answer but right night Allergan is not a great place and the high level consultant type jobs will probably be cut once we are bought by one of these cheap rollup companies.

Territory is HUGE. Buffalo to Albany. Basically all of NY state outside of the NYC, Long Island, and Hudson Valley areas.

The previous guy was pretty good but was forced out because the idiot sales managers/sales reps needed someone to blame when their numbers tanked, so this poor guy took the fall.

Beware. The sales leadership has little to no respect for this team and is looking to get rid of them. Most of the sales management don't fully understand the reimbursable nature of Botox and are too stupid to understand it and this trickles down to the reps. Reach and frequency from 1998 is the Allergan playbook in Neuro.
