The rumor that Pernix has been sold is false. Company has been looking for strategic partner to merge or buy the company since February. Mgmt is not going to give away the company just yet for pennies on the dollar. So Project Panther continues. But nothing is in the pipeline. Hence why several large institutions sold their shares recently (latest being Morgan Stanley). Of course a future sale can never be out of the question. If just is not happening within the next few months.

Major hurdle is sales revenue. Especially in light of the very poor Q1 financial earnings results. It is imperative that sales revenue for Q2 that gets announced in August is NOT any worse then sales revenue reported in Q1. So for all you StockTwits, you need to focus your "to the moon, etc" comments/memes on Q2 sales revenue. Because this is what all the major players (investors) and potential buyers of the company is looking at.

For the employees. As Bill Belichik says. "Do you job and do it well"... If you are valuable, then you will succeed whether Pernix turns around their financial sitituations or if you end at at a bigger more established Pharma that truly appreciates your value. The only ones that need to worry are the slackers. And lets face it, those slackers could be the reason why sales revenues are so down. Or it could be because the drugs you are selling are not that much in demand (I am not in your industry so cannot comment on that).

Good Luck all

As for the people saying the stock is being manipulated. LOL

I have been buying at the half dollar level (lets say .49.50) for 100K shares. Then quickly selling for $50.00. With 100K shares that earns me a profit of $500... Now repeat that throughout the day and it adds up to a great day trading day for this stock.

If I am doing it, then you know much more smarter bigger traders are doing this also. This is not manipulation. It is called day trading.

Valid points but you base your opinions off the information we have right now and your speculations unless you have some kind of insider information for management. In that case all avenues are still open and hence a buyout/merger/debt restructuring/bankruptcy could be announced today, tomorrow, the end of the week, after Q2 earnings reports, at the end of the year, in 1 year. So we're all going hang in there and hope for the best for you folks on stock twits and those of us who work hard to ensure the company is delivering the very best products. Note: I'm not disregarding your statements as you may know something or for all we know maybe top level management/affiliated with top level management but in the case none of these apply to you, all just speculation.
