I heard that some bidders didn't know even hear about the LEO Pharma data until recently. Now those guys are trying to walk away as fast as possible. Sometimes I wonder how dumb these BD guys are. Seriously your only job is to look at the competitive landscape!

Sales, Marketing, and Business Development are all a bunch of amateurs. Any group of reasonable business leaders would have been presented the LEO data along with Graceway's sound strategy to protect the franchise. Business Development should have insisted that marketing address the competitive situation. What else do they have to do?

Even Medicis is not that stupid now that the phase 3 data for LEO Pharma's PEP005 is public knowledge. Mark Lebwohl, a long time fan and champion for imiquimod proclaimed that PEP005 will be the gold standard for AK.

Imiquimod is doomed to the trash heap of obsolete molecules. With additonal Leo molecules on phase 2 studies, even other imiquimod-like molecules are on shakey ground. Their patents are on a short time line now.

Face it, the value of this franchise is close to being zero. Buyer beware!
 


















Go back to the field and do your job. This rumor mill will be pumping out the same swill for months and years to come, and still things will be just as they are. So many of you are just hoping for the demise of this company, so you can blame your pathetic job performance on something other than yourself. Go to work, and if you don't like it, or can't do it, leave your position open for someone more competent at this line of work to fill it. Just make a decision and go with it. It's time for you to move forward, one way or another.
