Since Eric is providing exciting updates next week - I will be shedding some much needed perspective from the C Suite. I’ve sat silent long enough. This company is facing an existential crisis.
I will attempt to answer the burning questions on the fields mind. I will also make you privy to behind the scenes discussions on what are the viable paths forward for the company as its presently constructed. Hint: There are several - and none of the REALISTIC ones are great.
Will address:
Can ALKS M&A Team really buy something?
Is someone up top about to be the fall guy/gal? If not - why not?
How is the stock price used to make decisions?
How much runway is there really with the current trajectory?
What’s the plan and timing for potential 1 up vs 2 up? What would “force” a move into 1 up?
ALKS balance sheet
Value Enhancement Plan - Deal with the Devil
How RP got played by Activists
RP and his focus (its not sales and marketing)
Why the culture is broken? This one I’ll answer now. We don’t have culture guys - we have execution guys. Todd, Damon and Eric are not guys who inspire you to bring out greatness - no fault of their own - it’s a skill they lack - just a bad match to lead a sales org. More on that next week.
Lots to discuss…stay tuned.
