UPCOMING LAYOFFS TO BE MASSIVE !!!!!!!

............... I hope everyone has there Plan B in place. If you don't.... you will be in a world of hurt with this economy the way it is.

If they continue to lay off who will be left to sell the drug? There are FAR too many upper management/corporate positions that are draining money from our company. This company forgot that the most important person at the company is the salesperson. Treat them well and they will perform........beat them down and you will have what is taking place now. Everyone else is just overpaid cannon fodder.

I think you might be talking about Working Man or New World Man? Working Man was from the album RUSH. The new Rush album Clockwork Angels is really good. There's also a Pearl Jam song called Unemployable from the Avocado album. Name that tune in 3 notes.

angry guy is like the guy the great jethro tull song aqua lung was written about-a homeless creepy guy

Sitting on the park bench --
eyeing little girls with bad intent.
Snot is running down his nose --
greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes.
Aqualung
Drying in the cold sun --
Watching as the frilly panties run.
Aqualung
Feeling like a dead duck --
spitting out pieces of his broken luck.
Whoa, aqualung

Sun streaking cold --
an old man wandering lonely.
Taking time
the only way he knows.
Leg hurting bad,
as he bends to pick a dog-end --
he goes down to the bog
and warms his feet.

Feeling alone --
the army's up the road
salvation a la mode and
a cup of tea.
Aqualung my friend --
don't you start away uneasy
you poor old sod, you see, it's only me.
Do you still remember
The December's foggy freeze --
when the ice that
clings on to your beard was
screaming agony.
And you snatch your rattling last breaths
with deep-sea-diver sounds,
and the flowers bloom like
madness in the spring.

Wasn't there a Rush song about an angry man? was that about the angry abusive poster here?

Here is an opinion from a short on another board. He gives reasons for the sales force defection and oddly doesn't think it is due to CP.

"John Johnson chose to stay in New Jersey, while the sales force is HQ'ed in Seattle. After the management changeover, the internal rumor of reduction in force and reorganization, on top of sales managerial change, caused a completely unnecessary defection of the sales force.

This is not Mitch Gold's fault. This is completely JJ's fault. He has proven to be a destructive leader who shoots down his own company's share price. Staying short on this co is a smart move."

I love Tull. My kids listen to it now and I remember rolling joints off the album cover Thick As a Brick. Ever try to roll one off a CD case? Man, have times changed!

Peace, Love and Mitch!

lol your posts are so funny. ian anderson must have known about the angry abusive guy. the song is about him...creepy

The mere mention of DNDN and the legendary Jethro Tull in this forum is sacrilegious and pure blasphemy. But now that it's done Locomotive Breath may be more accurate....ie...In the shuffling madness
Of the locomotive breath,
Runs the all-time loser,
Headlong to his death.
He feels the piston scraping --
Steam breaking on his brow --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He sees his children jumping off
At the stations -- one by one.
His woman and his best friend --
In bed and having fun.
He's crawling down the corridor
On his hands and knees --
Old Charlie stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
He hears the silence howling --
Catches angels as they fall.
And the all-time winner
Has got him by the balls.
He picks up Gideon's Bible --
Open at page one --
God stole the handle and
The train won't stop going --
No way to slow down.
