I’m in Lytics but have friends in the MS franchise. It looks as though this transformation idea is literally ruining the most profitable franchise we have and count on! I’ve been here close to 10 years and have never seen anything like this. Divisions seem to be falling apart with reps pitted against each other for territories and I’ve heard from many that their own managers are avoiding communication with their reps. I have to ask because Lytics will Be next. Do they even realize how much damage they have already caused?

Totally agree. I'm also in another franchise and have been in 2 others since I joined GNE. While they each had their issues I've NEVER seen a franchise this contentious or destructive. Such a shame and it always starts at the top - good or bad. I remember when the MS franchise was forming and how they shunned excellent GNE managers in favor of BIIB or other outsiders, (I'm not a manager). While I think it's important to have mix it's also essential that a new GNE franchise have plenty of old-school leadership who knows the expectations of the culture. This is really sad. Senior leadership needs to get a grip and fast!

Yes! I also agree. They are going to lose a lot of good people that they don’t want to lose.

Genentech could care less about people, losing people etc. $56 billion in gross revenue and they're cutting people to save a few bucks. Typical Swiss culture, i mean look at what the Swiss did in World War II. Thats Swiss leadership! Sell you down the road for a nickel. Thats an extra nickel for the Hoffman La-Roche family to add to their fortune

As said so many times before, you work for Roche, not Genentech. That company no longer exists.

It’s very twisted here. They need to change the name to Roche. Why keep the name Genentech. What’s the point? Amy V is seeing to that. You all do know she and her “squad” are making the decisions? The now ultimately make the decision. So when someone asked her who would be affected if anyone, she should have answered “We haven’t decided yet.” There is no higher power on this one. Her squad will make the decision. Amy is cut from Roche cloth and enjoys this kind of thing before she starts her new life in Sweden. People stood up and clapped for her for what? It’s really whatever she decided, which is ironic since she won’t have anything to do with the MS franchise once she is in Sweden. So why would she care? Other than perhaps a handful of home office people she likes, she doesn’t give a sh*t about what happens to anyone else. The only thing on her mind right now is making sure she gets a great price for her home and takes advantage of her relo package to Sweden and studying what school her children will attend. Yes, it’s a great day in Amy-Land. You do t have many worries when your own job isn’t on the line.
