Several postings upfor pcp neuro/cns contract selling new launch drugs for restless legs and parkinsons, along with pre existing epilepsy drug; is this the UCB contract and if so, are they expanding/extending contract?

why - what's the problem with contract - drugs, managed care issues, dm in territory?

It's unfortunate- the drugs are great, but the parameters of the contract are so bad- huge territories, no car, no gas card, and entry level salary. They killed the chances of success for this launch before it even got started.

What's the salary and if no gas card are you getting car allowance/mileage?

I can deal with the $61K plus mileage; but the territories are huge, so what's the call expectation per day given all the drive time and how are the drugs doing in the market?

8 calls a day. Launch is going very slow....

Probably because found a higher paying job - everyone is looking because the base and bonus are so low, even DM's

Was just contacted for interview. At this point... I've been laid off since June. So, if offered it I'd gladly take it.

Is there "any" room for negotiation. I am new to the entire contract sales process.... The salaries are set I would assume based on what they are mandated by the client organization? Please share any exp with this.

Recruiter said yesterday that 75k would be within reason for this position as it is a specialty spot .

55,000 salary. 11,000 commission structure. 500 care plus mileage..... thats facts.. for here anyways...
