UCB home study

I've been through training with a few companies, but find that the amount of material that is expected to be completed by next week with a passing score of 90% unreasonable. Here is Saturday afternoon and I am still finishing up week one. I noticed a few people on the cc expressing the same frustration. I wouldn't care so much if I was actually a UCB employee, at least it would be worth it, knowing I'd get a company car, higher salary, and more vacation time.

It's completely bogus. Even if we were making a normal salary, with a car, etc., it would be questionable...not to mention illegal, and, most likely, predicts what the entire contract will be like.

I understand that we should make good scores but since when is an 87% a failing score? Especially since we are learning about the brain...At least let us see what answers we got wrong instead of trying to decipher what something is

Especially when we are supposed to study (when???) for tests at the away training? I am sick to death of what this industry asks us to give (ignore your family, stare at your computer for way more hours than the "officially" written down requirement/schedule) to them while they can cut us loose in a millisecond, on a whim. One thing I can say about this crappy economy is that it's teaching me what is really important: TIME...why waste it VOLUNTEERING for corporate? They keep paying less, the territories just get bigger, and they want us to ruin our own vehicles...why? It's not worth it.

Too much material for the time allotted. Information overload! I honestly don't think I've retained much of the information at this point because of the amount of content crunched in to such a short time period. By the time I get to Atlanta, I'll be mentally and physically exhausted, not a good way to start training.

I think your right. Plus the territories are really large which will ruin the value of our vehicles.[/Q

F.Y.I! Keep track of your miles for when you do your taxes because the government allows you .55 per mile, then subtrack what you are being paid for car allowance and mileage, and you will have a sizeable tax write-off! Ask your accountant about it.You actually make out better than having a company car!

Thanks! good to know!

God I hate this training! WTF the PD trials assessment was just a bunch of jumbled numbers. Seriously, were supposed to remember ALL the crazy dosing going on in these 6 or 7 trials at this point in the game? Give me a break! Not one question about side effects or results! Worthless time spent.
