You might be too young to recall the 80s song Turning Japanese, but it will be our new theme song for the Takeda takeover.

Takeda will be issuing all reps a camera, samauri sword, and a geisha just like in the video.
There will be training on dancing and singing like in the video to these lyrics.

I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so
Turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so
I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so
Turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so
No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women
No fun, no sin, no you, no wonder it's dark
Everyone around me is a total stranger
Everyone avoids me like a cyclone ranger

Not funny even a little. Your offices must dread seeing a loser like you walk in every two weeks

OP you didn’t trust your audience so you hammered it down their gullets... not funny.

I did like the spirit of this though.

I’m having a laugh because more than half the sales force will be let go and now will never get any of that feeling at all!!!

I guess most of us have a hard time laughing about losing our income and being unable to support our families.
Been in this most volatile of industries for years and I have been laid-off more than once. My most recent lay off (from a job I enjoyed where I was making well over 6 figures) was 6 months ago and I'm still not working. If you haven't had to look for a job in a couple of years, you need to know that much has changed. Most jobs that you apply to will not elicit a response. And recruiters? I'm won't address that topic because I could write a book about my experiences with them. If/when you do get an offer, be prepared to accept a lower base, among other things. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who lands a decent gig before the cuts are made, or shortly thereafter (and I hope you are!). Maybe your period of unemployment will be brief, but know that it will not be for most. It's the state of industry and the state of our economy in 2018. Welcome to the Jungle! (It gets tougher everyday).:(
