Tulsa women's health opening

It seems there is perpetually a women's healthcare opening in Tulsa listed on Indeed. Just wondering why, since there are always a lot of well-qualified reps in the area looking for a different job. I know some people that have said they would never apply for it because of WC's bad reputation, but surely they must get some applications. Or is the manager is very picky and can't find anyone he likes, or is there constant turnover once someone is hired? I know all pharma companies have good and bad points, and sometimes a good company can have a bad reputation and vice versa, but was curious about this. Thanks for the serious answers in advance!!

Chances are good that they really just aren't hiring. There have been positions posted for territories that have been vacant for almost two years that they have zero interest in filling. Certain product sales forces are better off than others. Bone is and has been on its way out for a while. Hope this helps.

Just remember, that Managers make bad companies, not the company itself. I work in womens health, it is by far the most lucrative of divisions at WC. Also, I do not know the manager or Tulsa, but there can be numerous reasons why the territory is open. I can promise you they have EVERY intention on hiring someone there. We can not leave territories open for too long. There is a lot of money to be made in that division with a good salesperson out there than to just let it sit. Hope this helps, dont believe an iota of anything you read on the Cafepharma boards. Find a rep in womens health in the region and talk to them personally. Again, WC is a great company to work for. There are managers out there that make reps miserable and thus give the company a horrible reputation, much is the same for every pharma company.

Interesting there is always a position open in my area in the northeast also for women's health, I have applied multiple times. They have called me, but I have heard that they only seem to want to hire people with no pharma experience what so ever. I mean bartenders, customer service people from rent a car places. It's strange.
