Tuff Day for Alkermes Stock Plumments!







I've heard of a failed drug trial because active agent can't statistically do better than the placebo, but a placebo that statistically performs better than the active agent? Forget this antidepressant seeing the light of day.
 












So... Let's think about this. We DBL's were given stock to come on board to this risky company last year. I think the managed markets team and those guys who contract for the hospital purchasing departs got stock too. We were all sold on how that stock would make us rich. Let's see now. My stock was granted at a little over $71 per share. It is worthless and will be worthless for some time and maybe forever. What is keeping me from leaving? Nothing.
 












We've got bigger problems then the stock there littler feller. You've got a VP who thinks Mike Tyson is a leader we all need to get behind, the AL brand marketing director who doesn't know the first clue about selling in this marketplace and a COO who is more worried about showing off his intelligence and telling us the meeting will not be fun than helping us. We get it dude. You are very smart. Smart people also know their audience and talk to them with some respect. When we show up to the meeting we will realize there is no fun to be had. You don't have to brow beat us about it. Oh and can someone hire a person who can count? How hard is it to tell us exactly how much we had to use with the hospital vial program? You can hire my 3 year old and he could do a better job. So much for the "collaboration"

Can you please provide more detail on the "fun" you expect to have at a business meeting?

What "fun" events are do you need that you're not getting? Music concert? Inflatable playground?

What is not on the agenda that you think should be there? Please be as specific as possible.

I think the rumor of a stock option re-price may keep DBL and RMD levels from jumping right away, but they gonna have to put their money where there mouth is and do it fast. I know of many already looking and heard one in Iowa (think she was managed care) already gave notice. We all know many are looking and have been. Without a significant stock option price re-set, a lot of the talent that was hired last January will be out the door within 30 to 90 days.
