Tucson, AZ

There has been a lot of turn over in that territory. There are several managers, so I'm not sure exactly who you'd have, but the regional director and area director for the territory are currently on a rampage with ridiculous expectations (i.e. sales results consistently in the top 25% of the company and stupid busy work that does not = business results). It may not be a good position if you are looking for a work-life balance. Hope that helps, and good luck.

Thanks for the honest reply.

There's 2 sides of Tucson and management is night and day from one side to the other because it's where one region starts and another ends. They keep flipping regions and territories back and forth so reps and managers have changed quite a bit. IMO from everything I've heard if you care about being happy and treated with respect I'd choose the west side. If you're into being verbally abused and treated like your a worthless piece of sh*t then I'd recommend working on the east side

From what I heard and seen ( from the reps directly ) - this territory is a black hole. I work for a different company and was initially interested myself to see if there was some opportunity to make a little more cash. When I heard what the reps were making and crap they were dealing with at the same time, I realized I am in a pretty good place.

If your hiring managers are Lembo and Smith.....Run. Do not take the job. No matter how well you do, they will beat you down. Cocky asses with no wins behind their belt so they treat everyone else horribly.

Tucson is a tough town. I have been here for what seems like 100 years and longer by the second.

I remember a rep in Tuscon told they have never seen their number one writer. Ever.

It is a tough gig. It is a place to go and starve.

If you have to pay the bills and feed the kids take it. Otherwise pass.

Oddly, there are most likely one-hundred qualified reps in the area going for the same job.

All the same. Good luck.
