Trying for an Internship

Hey everyone,

I am currently a sophomore at a smaller Indiana school (Indiana Wesleyan University) working on my Biochemistry/Premed bachelors, and I'm working on trying to get an internship with Lilly. I have lab experience and will be heading up a research team on prostate cancer this spring and have a 3.98 GPA. I have a friend from work whose brother works for Lilly (Don DeCraene...I think he might be a DM of sales...), but do you guys know of anything else that would be beneficial in getting a summer internship? I really don't even care if it's paid or not, I could greatly use the experience!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give. :)

I should probably clarify, I'm looking for a research internship. I realize this is a sales board, and if this is an inappropriate post, feel free to delete it.

Thanks :)

I wouldn't tell many people you know that idiot. He verbally condemns 6 and 7 year olds at little league games as though it is game 7 of the world series. I am astounded that this moron is in a management position. If this is what Lilly hires for leadership, they are going down the wrong road.
