Just curious if anyone else has noticed that many of the very talented individuals have quietly been leaving and securing far better opportunities and organizations? The leadership here instead of growing and improving their skills set are stagnant and are destroying what should have been a dynamic, productive leadership process. The National Meeting is going to be a very long exercise in self control and acceptance of our failing future

Honey, talent left the building over 10 years ago. It’s been a constant slow bleed. SF liberal management types are to blame.
 


















The true talent from the early 2000s were entrepreneurs and took a risk to come to Genentech then helped them build it. Most of the talent left several years ago. They saw the writing on the wall and could see the people being brought on board. A bunch of educated idiots too dense to truly think. The DEI advocates are a good example of the stupidity. Let’s solve bigotry by treating people differently based on their color, gender and sexuality???
There’s some folks who have been here for a long time and have sold out for a paycheck. No balls or integrity. Grow a pair and leave. Get your integrity back at a smaller company where you survive based upon talent instead of woke nonsense.
 






I left because a totally incompetent DEI hire for HD made working here totally unbearable. She was the worst manager I have ever had. I was successful my entire career until this incompetent came in and made it obvious she would drive me out, because of my color and age.

I inow of one of those as well. She failed at GSK so they brought her here because she fit the demo they were looking for. Sad..but true.
 






As people continue to run from this disaster one thing many of us have learned is the reputation of incompetence and entitlement is so well known for legacy Genentech employees, if you haven’t worked for another organization of integrity, you’re screwed! Genuine leadership, integrity and intelligence have left the building
