It is with regret that I announce that Jorge Insuasty, MD has resigned from his position at Novartis. I would like to thank Jorge for his many contributions to Novartis over the last 8 years and in particular to the NSO franchise over the last 3 years.
Under Jorge's leadership, the NSO Franchise brought several key products to the market while working closely with NIBR to transition projects into development.
During his tenure, he has provided strong scientific and strategic input. Jorge is leaving Novartis in order to pursue other opportunities. His last day at the company will be April 4th.

I would like to take this opportunity to recognize Jorge's accomplishments and to wish him well in the future.

Jorge being fired has been coming for a long time....
no real love between those two
It was the Gilenya discussions with the FDA that kept Jorge safe for a little more that others.
That out of the picture....

....and he is out of the game... not even 3 strikes....just kicked out to the curb.

At least he left with his dignity, integrity and high morals.

I believe that the original poster expressed her/his anger and frustration with the current destructive culture of uncertainty that she/he is living at Novartis Development.

The words "fuck", "vaseline", "condom", "ass" are poetic metaphors.

If one uses a Thesaurus, a possible poetic meaning of these ghetto words emerges :

fuck = screw = discard
vaseline = salve = remedy
condom = protection = assurance
ass = jerk = fool

So perhaps in a more elegant and palatable wording will have been:

"Trevor discards another Franchise Head; without remedy nor assurances; what a fool"

Very clever! However, we Novartis folks must make sure this site is used for appropriate dialogue. Filthy words and sexual descriptions just cast a shadow over all the hard working and polite employees. I truly hope the negative posters are not part of the Novartis family of employees. Hopefully, we still do a good job in screening new employees!!
