Trauma RM comp/incentive knowledge

Can anyone with direct knowledge of RM incentives explain the lack of head count and not replacing associates as they leave?

Is this a budget issue? Or does head count effect RM comp?

I’ve wondered this as well… I’m on the receiving end of “breakage”, where my now departed partners comp is not getting split amongst the team. What the hell is this shit?!

I asked, and was shown, that there is no financial incentive for "breakage" but it is the company policy to fund non commissioned people. My RM had no problems showing me the comp agreement and explaining it to me, it's a good question that deserves a transparent response IMO.

What does this even mean,

company policy to fund non commissioned people.

If I am doing the work of the departed person, why aren't I getting paid accordingly?? I have half a mind to just not do the work of the departed person, why am I breaking my back and killing myself for cases I am not getting paid fairly on? This was conveniently not discussed during questions I had about how team comp works when I was coming over.

I was victim to this as well. And as I discovered the comp should be adjusted and can be adjusted. At first I was told it is what it is. But, after pressure we were able to get the comp adjusted. In addition, when not adjusted it helps the RM cover his costs of overhead. So if you’re not getting yours adjusted you are getting screwed. First step, is to make a case with HR. It will get rectified immediately.

I fell victim to this as well. The comp can be adjusted to reflect the current number of reps/assoc on the team. The reason your RM may not want to do it is bc they need to cover the costs of their overhead. I was able to get mine adjusted accordingly. If you can’t go to HR and make a case they will contact your RM and it will get rectified.

I’ll try and post this again. I fell victim to this as well. The comp can be changed to reflect current number of reps/assoc’s. The reason the RM may not want to change is bc it covers the cost of the overhead for his/her other teams in the region. If comp isn’t adjusted, go to HR and start a case and it will be adjusted.
