Exactly. Why so long? There is no need. Also, depends on your geography, but do your thorough research on Vivus DM. There are good ones, however, a few are absolute nightmares. Ask former reps if you can, not current.

Five weeks seems like a long time for Home Study. Are you sure this is the length? I have a friend that is a Qsymia rep and their HS was 2 to 3 weeks. Perhaps it has changed. I can tell you that you are expected to be a Cardio Metabolic Specialist. You are expected to understand the comorbidities of obesity. Including but not limited to; diabetes, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia, arthritis, sleep apnea, etc... You will also have to understand the medications used to treat these conditions and the benefits of weight loss for patients with these conditions. You will also need to understand other past and present medications used to treat obesity. You will not spend your entire HS period just learning about one drug. If you are asking this questions I will assume you have been offered a job. Good Luck!

Thanks for the info.....sounds like you have been through this HS? Also herd it's between 4-5 weeks and no walk in the park.
