An associate in marketing leaving is the writing on the wall? I don't know about that. Remember the exodus a couple of years ago? That was bad. This is just someone looking at better opportunity.

Well - let's give her career a bit more credit than that. She's an Associate Director of Marketing- not a Product Manager. That's like a VP of Marketing. Pretty important role as no one is available to step up and take her place. Also she's overseen all of our dx business, so how someone will step into that shit show is beyond me.
Additionally, if Lady Butler tries to make a move for Genny's spot, I will literally lose my lunch. Seriously. She's a dingbat.

There's a time in every companies existence when people leave. You might want to brush off their leaving as usual or normal. But if you look deeper you'll see trends. Some people leaving are bell weathers. Are things ok or not here at Prometheus they ask themselves? How stable are we in the next few months? When they leave, you need to look out! Look closely at who left. Where they went to will tell you a lot. But really look at why they left.
Healthcare is changing dramatically. Be aware that reimbursement is changing and LPA's are going away. How is a sales organization self sufficient when they can't collect?
Business models need to change.
I thought that Nestle would help with contracting. It hasn't. Now we're losing people. Our brain trust I'd say of the vets are leaving. They knew how to grow business without contracts. They knew how to sell value.
This is a thread about GL....the words 'brain trust' should not appear anywhere near her name. She's been trying to get out for quite awhile but no one was interested in hiring her. Prometheus' future is bleak but losing GL is neither a bell weather warning nor a loss. We all know this.
GL has far more brains than you know, you useless asshole. She never left before because she has her priorites straight. If you don't know her, don't be a useless jerk and judge her. She off to a great place, so good for her. MW and the sales force's loss. She is a genuine person, a great marketer who worked tirelessly for the sales force.
