If you believe they "backed off" of their own accord, you are naive. There is always more to the story. I'd bet that the rest of this story involves Merck behaving less then appropriately.

I wouldn't give that Gardasil poison to a dog, let alone my child.

good call…it is poison, but management doesn't care…they just like the $$$
