Top B2B seller with opportunity to get into software or medical?

Killed it with large B2B uniform sales (top 5%), now looking at offer for medical sales in the OR. Way better base than b2b and great commission. Is this a good industry to get into, or should I look at software sales, like an account executive at salesforce?? I unsure if joining a software company where I'd be doing mainly teleprospecting is going to suit me and if I'd get bored sitting behind a desk all day... takes 3 years to get any outside sales roles as well.

SF pay tops dollar...$240k average for an AE but it's a tough gig to land. Software pays more that the average surgical sales position but is generally a more technical sale requiring a specialized degree. I have a few friends in software and they love it, I am lucky to be with a former start-up medical device company that exploded (not ISRG) so I'm riding as long as they will let me. Good luck with your decision.
