I hope the "leadership" assholes are reading all these posts. I wonder if they think they are still correct in the direction they wanted to go. Obviously they were not correct but what went on in their minds was a disaster. I wonder how our little man rogan is handling the new regime. Where is his head now?
 




it was the legion of doom that made this irreversible mess. Industry changes happen, Technology is what it is, but those shitheads should have been smoked out of here long ago, better yet, a higher grade of talent should’ve been at the helm all along.
 












1) Sales force that sat back and rode out the Sirona exclusive and didn’t grow market share in other areas.
2) Leadership that didn’t realize that the sales force was phoning it in for 5 years.
3) Reps that use every excuse under the sun rather than look in their gold plated mirrors and see that they got taken behind the woodshed by the likes of Schein and Benco.
 








2. CEREC "Integration"
Fanatical belief in a process that has limited clinical value to the patient or doctor while the entire industry evolved past Sirona's technical ability. Now, many competitor's innovations are real solutions that are both flexible and better.

3. Katy Perry Concerts
Blindly promoting the event. Let's distract the doctor from what they are actually buying. All sizzzle, no steak and the doctors are left hungry once they recognize their business and patient care has not been improved.

No worries though, Schein has been lured into the same Sirona snare.

Planmeca was a goto for years. I went away from that. Now im full steam ahead.

Better product and better pricing. None of the pressure and a rep that actually knows what he is doing. Fuck Sirona
 




patterson filled our heads with how great Sirona was. We let great company’s like Planmeca get away from us. I guess we were forced to believe that Sirona was the missing link. I wonder how much the leadership assholes made on kick backs!
 




Planmeca has no good offerings other than 3d and promax. Have you ever dealt with them on fringe/good will warranty cases? They also sell refurb units themselves from Chicag warehouse.
Sirona has more comprehensive lineup, but will get you into vicious 3 year upgrade cycle on cerec and 3d and anything expensive, and their low end units Intego and Heliodent plus for instance are not exactly stellar.
And patented Schick 33 sensors are not lasting more than 6-7 years even with replaceable cable.

I don’t think anyone is blaming the mfgs. It’s just that the idiot leaders at Patterson were delusional with the exclusives. That thinking took us out of the game in a lot of ways. It was almost like brainwashing us into thinking Sirona and Adec were going to lead us to the promised land. Well.... how did that work out?

I dont know what you mean.

They have the same sensor as Schick.

A better DI than sirona.

Their mill is a beast compared to the plastic i sold for years.

3D is obviously better.

They have a better warranty than Sirona. And covers stuff all the time outside of warranty even when i wasnt selling them.

And they sell refurbished machines thru us... I get a refurb list from kavo 4ish times a year. are you saying they sell them direct?

I sell the best products on the market... and have for a long time in this industry. Old guy? Maybe. Old school, yes, I fit that description, too.
