Too much travel

As a newly appointed AM, I do not understand why I have to run my vehicle into the ground for peanuts, for functions that could much easier be accomplished via teleconference, spreadsheets or reports.
I just noticed two new nicks on my hood from roadrash today, and I'm not a happy camper. All my friends down at the softball field are whispering behind my back and are refusing my carpool offers to away games.
What ever happened to company cars for high level managers?

Come on, they are only whispering b/c they are prob wondering why you just don't ask Denise to buff them out for you. It's not like she is not on your team too. Work together, play together it all pans out.

PS...there have never been company cars at Rotech. So just have Denise do it and stop your whiny stuff.

This company sucks. No pay and getting your butt handed to you on a million conference calls about what you're NOT doing is no way to run a business.

Sounds like someone has a case of...."The misery of the familar is more comfortable than the possible joy of......well, you can fill in the blanks.

Are you getting it for stuff that was not communicated to you ???? If they were, then it's up to you as an LCM to find a way to get it done. You do get paid for it, even if it is not much as you state.

By the sounds of it, maybe it would be best to allow them to write you up and let you go.

Then you will have plenty of time to secure the job you feel capable of doing. Good Luck!

I "get hell" for what you mention and sooo much more. Back in pre riff days, if only I were allowed to staff my location with my special friends instead of others, I am quite sure business would be through the roof by now.
Instead, I got stuck with outsiders who for all I know, probably held prejudices against lifestyles like mine.
An LCM should be not only allowed, but encouraged to hire exactly who they want as if it were their own business. That ensures Harmony.

I'm a sales rep, not an LCM. It's tough to "get it done" when you are busy doing everything else. Deliveries, pick ups, so on and so forth. You go out and get the business but must fulfill the orders personally or risk failure on the part of the staff making you look like a buffoon in front of your referrals. Our location has a revolving door for LCM and has not had any really strong staff for that matter for about 2 years. Leads me to believe the problem is the RM or AM. This job pays my bills in a rotten employment market so I just keep bending over for that swift kick that keeps coming!

Just imagine an LCM that not only sticks you with all of the above stated and with minimal support, but then complains to the AM that you are "working too much in OPS".
All to get you out the door and open it for a friend.

But you have Denise...who else do you need ??? Nahhhh don't bother to respond it will be the same old drivel you try and get by the Mod's...like the one above. You and Denise just need to really buckle down and do your job's and the heck with "story hour".

THAT is what Rotech pays you for, to do the job you were hired to do...not to tell stupid stories we are all tired of hearing.
