Too Many Meetings!

I really hope management reads these posts. This is specific to the eye care division. We are having too many out of territory meetings. Why do we have to travel again to a meeting in September when we just met in June and January. There is nothing new and this can be done on a webex. It's ridiculous that allergan is not making their number, these meeting should be cancelled. They are following the same old same old. Take the advice of the same book you're having us read and change YOUR ways. If you want a role model, look at Ashley Mcevoy from Johnson and Johnson, she is changing the old pharmaceutical model and it's working. She cancelled all upcoming meetings. She moved the national sales meeting to the first of the year. Makes sense when you need reps in their territory. Cut the expense and don't waste out time.

The quicker you learn that things aren't required or done for YOUR benefit, the better. It will help you keep your sanity.

Facial Aesthetics has 2 natl sales meetings a year plus at least one additional region meeting. National Meetings are always held in CA rather than somewhere central in the country so 70% of the people have to travel across the country to get there. If we must meet twice a year, why cant we meet somewhere central and less expensive than Orange County. Very wasteful.

National Meetings are always held in CA rather than somewhere central in the country so 70% of the people have to travel across the country to get there. If we must meet twice a year, why cant we meet somewhere central and less expensive than Orange County. Very wasteful.

Relax, OC is super cheap to have meetings in as we get great rates on hotels here. It also gives us folks who cheat on our wives a reason to stay overnight in a hotel 20 mins away from our house. So just take that long flight and know I am getting some. Thanks for taking it for the team. KK

Try being an RM in facial. We have basically 4 NSM a year since we run through each NSm a week before you.
