Alright, you feel you were wronged at Cubist and you did something about it. You left. You moved on to what you feel is a better opportunity at a company that values you and is paying you what you deserve, that’s great! Good for you! Sure, in your mind nothing would make you happier than to see Cubist struggle without you and for you to see everything come crashing down behind you the moment you left. Guess what? It didn’t and it won’t. Things will simply continue much as they were and any legacy you expected to leave behind is now in someone else’s hands, and that’s okay. Be at peace with it.

Do yourself a favor, make a clean break and don’t look back. You believe the bitterness that you harbor inside of you against Cubist will motivate you in your new position but it won’t. Motives driven by anger or revenge never lead to success, they only lead to more anger and bitterness. With all due respect to you, make this post on this rotten board your last view, and focus on the good things you can do in your new role to be successful. I have all the respect in the world for what you have done to try to improve your situation, but it’s time to move on and stop looking back. True happiness in what you do can't be had if you harbor ill will from the past. All the best to you my brother.

Next time you're trying to convince people to keep their opinions to themselves, you shold try to sound less condecending. If you're fine with the state of affairs at cubist then good for you. Feel free to chirp all about how great you believe cubist is.

The entire point of cafe pharma is for people to vent their fustations and have an opinion in a safe forum. Opinions are what make this site interesting and fun to read. You must be a massive egomaniac to post that kind of arrogant bullshit.

What is wrong with this picture? Word spreads very fast in the ID community and MD's and others DO NOT LIKE LAWYERS or being sued. Just like scientific innovation can't be taken by a scientist from 1 company to another or an investment manger can't take a clients book of business just because they went to another brokerage firm. yes the suit has been filed. When the complaint can be made public you will see it is complete smear campaign. I realize you are told half the story…. but the truth will come out and I hope some of you will have the class to apologize for some of the remarks made here due to lack of knowledge from full disclosure. innocent until proven guilty does not apply on this site. To be this educated I would never want to see some of these people on a jury. You never considered you have not been told the whole story? Have you seen the complaint? Have you might just have been lied to? You make a decision based on never even seeing the complaint filed by Cubist? Ask for a copy of it….

One CBM is charged with emailing a "job well done" to themselves before leaving the company. That is in the suit. 2 Counts and logging into Veeva twice to close out a PME. Really? Would you honestly convict someone and not allow them to work in the United States for 2 years over that? How many have printed an email from their boss to themselves? According to Cubist, that is a proprietary information! You are not allowed to have that information… not according to the complaint filed by Cubist. I am not saying they aren't right or wrong. That is their choice. But at ANY time TC or GS could have stood up on that stage and said NO ONE FROM CUBIST IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE AND WORK FOR MDCO! TC announced that MDCO was hiring. Why did he not say you cannot leave because of a non compete, non solicitation? Instead this is about stealing proprietary information?

Realize this lawsuit is only meant to delay the launch of a drug but it has become very personal. And do not say MDCO has facilitated any such behavior. You really believe MDCO waited until 30 days before launch to develop a strategy, tools, gather market information? Cubist accepted reps from other companies and if anything the two companies are equally "facilitating this type of behavior".

Thank you to the above poster that has exposed these baseless and BS accusations. Once the lawyers have a chance to defend this it will get tossed out and cubist will have to pay for damages . Sales reps do not have any proprietary information. Everything a sales rep does is so regulated by the FDA we are now puppets of government.
