Why would they be expanding floor space 800% if that were true?
Just because there's talk about outsource doesn't affect the increase in building space. I think you have to wake up. Did you ever think that the guy running this ship is Canadien? Times are real tough right now at OI and $$ is severely lacking. WAKE UP
If the rumor fits wear it. It does not phase me a bit. Allen and Albert would do anything to save a buck and Farrell is going to run this company into a grave.
I do know that the cost per unit is running at around $610/unit but there are sales, kick backs involved and also and redemtions.
I would think that out sourcing will happen very soon or the ship will sink?
I forgot about the new building cost, That will be at least $450,000/year in added overhead. My guess is they will be losing money starting in 2009?
Watch out when they start losing money. It will no longer become a hobby for the owners and they will try and run a medical device company like thier own business. Which ='s FAILURE!

I left there over a year ago and was told by one of the directors back then that they are already 24 million in debt. I do not understand how they are still operating with the massive interest to pay out on that liability?

We found out a few weeks ago that they are only leasing the two new buildings. That means the commitment is not to stay in Canton.

Not with the state of MA 10 billion in the hole, The biotechnology funding council will end very soon. If OI did not get a check from the state for R&D then they never will get one. Do they deserve to get this free money?
More rumblings on Friday of maybe laying off at least 40. It would not surprise me if most of them are R&D and QA.
