So for all the chicken littles, who get worried whenever they hear rumors that the sky is falling, relax. That press release says the company has DOUBLED in size during a horrible recession.

And to all you haters out there who like to spread stupid rumors (you know who you are): You. Can. Suck It.


Oh, and by the way: lunch with the Governor was delicious.

This is what you have to combat DG hitting 100,000,000.00 in sales?
Approved in the "Kingdom"? Just an fyi....for those who haven't been there...it is a national medicine situation. Another "tid bit" they don't care about about the population there (I will gladly argue this point here daily...I have seen it).
Been there and have seen that.
My advice to OI....don't mislead solid folks on the sales team. this may be a positive for you..I don't know, but if this is all you have to bolster "haters and chicken littles", this is sad.
Again, I think the news is great.....post when you can cover the production and shipping cost to those in the "Kingdom" that can pay cash. Love to see the numbers!!!
As far as the company being "doubled" in size....does that equate in profit or cost????
Hiring more people takes away profit and adds to cost......when sales are flat.
Remember...asset V. liability?
How long does it take a new rep to be profitable (cost v profit)? Please post an answer.....I for one cannot wait to see! Also, If you do not mind, post your calculation (formula) to show the evidence of your number. We like to get to the nitty gritty here.

Tell me: has your ridiculous action hero of a "governor" done three press events with ABH in the past 3 years? I didn't think so. You think he has ever even heard of your silly company?

You guys are bumping up against a reality check coming soon and you all know it.
 






Who cares about approval in SA, what does that mean for us? Better comp plan? Better quota system? This company is so flawed it is not even funny. How much hype has there been about Celtix and how great it will be and yadda yadda yadda. Where are we with that? How are sales going to be with a product that is not reimbursed, costs over $1400 and we are in a recession?

To the original poster, you need to come back to reality and realize this is all a ploy to look good and more money from the state so the doors can stay open.
 






DG troll? Isn't that defense getting old? Every single time a post is put up questioning something......it must be from the Big, Bad, Wolf....DG...aghhhhhh! Get real. I would bet they don't spend any time yapping about OI.
Maybe mgmt should focus less on what DG is doing and worry about what OI is not......growing the business.
Does anybody wonder why they are now the standard of care and when we hit a new place or circle back on an old doc, they don't know we are still in business?
Motivated and highly paid reps, and a great marketing plan....always new studies and articles.
Can we try that here please?
Or did that damn DG steal our printer paper too?

Dude, this is the most ridiculous post. The docs don't know we are still in biz. please. read any of the news coverage from this week. it said we doubled in size in revenue and in employees over the past couple of years.

If you really worked for the company you could bring up your "concerns" at the sales mtg.

Dude, come on. Why don't we hang out and listen at the next sales meeting. watch the groups break off after the drinks.....listen to the grumbles. Be happy that a slow economy keeps a lot here.

Well said. The above poster hit the nail on the head. This company is so bad that you have the TOP sales people actively looking for new jobs because the quota system and comp plan are keeping us from getting paid what we are OWED!! End of story.
 
























I like following both Organogenesis and Dermagraft. Unfortunately OI is private and I can't get info on sales. Anyone know the estimated revenue for 2010. My guess is almost $100M on all sources of revenue. Am I totally wrong?
